I have quite an old Apple MacBook .recently when I turned it on a tennis ball appeared and asked for a password .None of the passwords I have used fit .Can you help me

I have an old apple MacBook .I brought it on eBay from an American who had it already set up to go .I recently took this to a shop as the screen was broken and the case was too . I turned it on but cannot get back in as it will not accept any of my passwords or will it offer me help .Do you think you could help me please ?

You state that the Macbook is old yet you posted in the ML forums. Did the seller provide you w/the system DVDs that originally came w/it? If not, get them from the seller. "Old" Macs are not suppose to be sold w/o them.

You need to wipe your MB securely. You do not know what the seller has installed.
