hello...i have problem while installing itunes on my windows 8.1..this message comes to me ""could not write value itunesHelper to key/SOFTWARE/microsoft/windows/currentVersion/Run.verify that you have sufficient access to that key"" can anybody tell me how to solve it.

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.6

  1. Press WinLogoKey+R to open the Run... dialog box
  2. Type in Regedit and press enter/return
  3. Tap the plus symbol next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
  4. Tap the plus symbol next to SOFTWARE
  5. Press M on the keyboard, then again or scroll down until Microsoft is selected
  6. Tap the plus symbol or use the right-arrow key to open the branch
  7. Press W on the keyboard, then again or scroll down until Windows is selected
  8. Open this branch and find Current Version
  9. Tap R and locate Run inside that and select it


The registry editor should now look something like this: (Click to view)

Right-click on the Run key and click Permissions... to see what is going on. My current permissions for the Run key are shown below: Giving Administrators and/or yourself Full Control should be enough to let you make changes.
