Purchased Music not playing

I have quite a few songs that were purchased and no longer play. These songs were purchased by my son but using my iTunes account.


If I display "Songs" list, and select one of these songs, either nothing happens (no music) or a completely different song plays, which is always the same song.


Any ideas?


Is there a way to remove them permanently from my library?
