Please give more information on the issue. What do you mean you "lost all your documents"? Do you back up regularly with Time Machine?

I´m not that good at computers but I have been reading some articles and web pages that said there´s always a backup but I don´t know, should I go to an Apple Store for help? I lost all my documents, photos, videos, music... It´s like if it-s new
What exactly happened after you upgraded to OS X Mavericks? Did a setup wizard pop up like you were setting up the computer for the first time?
Exactly, I need to choose the WiFi, entered a password, my country, etc...

You read wrong, you need an external HD (actually 2 is better) to perpetually backup and archive your data. Period without exceptions.
What file did you store the data IN , on your Air's SSD? look there, gone?
Did you accidentally perform a recovery on your Air instead of an update?
No, I really updated it
How did you update your MacBook Air to OS X Mavericks? Did you use the Mac App Store?
Exactly
If all your files are missing
