I have just downloaded Pages 5.1, and I am already having trouble creating a new page that isn't blank. I want the new page to use one of the Pages templates.

Pages 5 no longer has the internal templates that Pages '09 had.
Apple has removed over 100 features from Pages 5.1 and it is sooooo buggy!
Pages '09 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.
Use that.

Ughhhh, so annoying. Thanks for your speedy response.
By all means play with Pages 5.1, just don't trust your work to it.
The Drawing tools are quite nice and it has Object Styling. Everything else varies from difficult to dangerous.

Yeah it's nice and I can do what I need to on it but I prefer '09. 5.1 hasn't gotten very good reviews, but I still bought it because I really liked Pages.
