iPhone 7.1 software update- no longer see contact picture when they call

I recently installed the iPhone 7.1 software update because the description only mentioned "minor bug fixes". To my suprrise however, there were several additional changes--such as no longer being able to see a contact's full picture when they call.

Is there any way that this can be changed, so that I no longer have to strain to see my contacts' pictures when they call? If so please let me know!

*Major disappointment with the update. I am not sure why this was an issue and hope that the next update comes soon and with the option to show the full picture. I am also disapointed that there is no longer the "answer" (green box) or "reject" (red box) for incoming calls. These are changes that I didn't seem to be necessary, but I hope that Apple listens to our frustations and provides alternatives.
