Airplay with receiver

I would recommend making sure that your Onkyo TX-8050 is connected to your wireless network. You may have to refer to the Onkyo website for instructions and possible troubleshooting documentation. What does the manual for the Onkyo TX-8050 say about Airplay?

When searching the web, I found a page that says "AirPlay Compatible No".

Crutchfield Onkyo TX-8050 AM/FM/Internet radio receiver

So you may not be able to wirelessly stream to it unless you connect it to an Airport Express Base Station or something similar. Basically use the Airport Express as the Airplay "receiver" for your Receiver.
