On my toolbar there used to be a little gear/star looking icon on the far right in line with the saved toolbar favorites. It was for the action menu drop down.
Now it is gone. I've gone through searching how to return it. I think 1 of my kids must of somehow deleted or moved it, but I cannot find it, or how to return it. Please advise how to return this in a way that even the most unsavvy computer person could understand. 🙂

The second screenshot appears to be from Windows, but I think that the SafariStand add-on offered something similar for the Mac version.
Try Safari - View menu - Customize Toolbar to see if there's an Action menu icon to be dragged back into place.
If not, then that or some other add-on has been removed or stopped working... but it's hard to guess at what isn't there, although you might check that Safari - Preferences - Extensions (if available) is switched on & that any installed extensions are checked.
