I have recently updated my iPhone 4s software and also my iTunes software to the latest.
I have connected my iPhone to my laptop via USB cable and opened iTunes however my iPhone is not showing as a device. Why is this? When I connect my iPhone it is charging so there is not an issue with the connection.
