WIFI BUTTON GREYED OUT AND NOT WORKING

My wifi button is greyed out and I am unable to turn wifi on. Bluetooth is the same. I have tried a network reset but that didn't work. Any suggestions ?

Hello RL-G,

was there any solution for you? My father is having same problem on his iPhone4. He is desperate now as he cannot connect to internet. He's 70yrs old and not a technology fan so I need an easy solution to explain to him.

The official apple solution did not work.

Would be interested to know if you solved it an how. Did you get this issue just after an update?
