How do I get my videos from the video application to my photo library?

I've been filming a lot and I want to create a video using the app Splice. I first used my iPhone to film the videos and then transfered them to my computer via iTunes. They are saved as .MOV files, if that helps. I then synced them to my iPad (Where I need them to be!) via the Movies option (Because the photos option wouldn't sense the videos and wouldn't sync them.) They ended up in the Videos Application, which the app I am using can not access the videos from! I have been trying to solve this on my own but I've been trying for over an hour and I need HELP! Please help, this is pretty urgent!
