Where did you get the Adobe Flash update from?

Assuming you went to Adobe Flash downloads,

and a problem exists, you may be able to follow

some leads among the search results I found.

Note the Adobe Support results among others here,

as well as links back to discussions at ASC...

•Adobe Flash Player - asking for password - Mac OS X:

https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&source=hp&q=adobe+flash+player+asking+for+pa ssword+mac

If your's is correct version for the OS X in Mac,

& you got it direct from Adobe 'getflashplayer' site,

the usual path (after confirming you need the

version you have) is to use the Flash uninstaller

to remove the older version of Flash, first, then

use the new Flash installer to put in the new one.

If you have problems with the actual password

and need to reset or change it, look into this:

•OS X: Changing or resetting account password

(Snow Leopard & earlier)

Anyway, hopefully the issue is anwsered among

the methods suggested by Adobe, among others.

Good luck & happy computing! 🙂
