Hi, I lost my IPAD, locked the device using "Find my IPhone" Lost Mode, and received the confirmation e-mail. One day later I received a second e-mail that the "IPAD has been found". What did the finder do to initiate this second e-mail? tks...Howard

This is what he will see when he turn on your iPad. He will not be able to use iPad if you have locked it (tap to enlarge image)

The second email was sent to you when he turn on the iPad.

After he Slide and Unlock, he will have to enter your Passcode (i.e. If you have remote lock the iPad)

Message was sent to you when finder opened magnetic cover and slide to unlock your iPad. He will not be able to use your iPad because it's locked.

The email you received should also include the approximate location of your iPad.

Hopefully the finder will call you.
