Q: my ipad mini says 'no air printer found'.

My ipad refuses to print from my air print enabled epson printer. Can anyone help please?

iPad, iOS 7.1

    See requirements for AirPrint and printers that support AirPrint here:

    If your printer supports AirPrint but does not work then:

     

    Your printer might need a firmware update

    Your printer must be on the same WiFi network

    Your router must support Bonjour (Zero-configuration networking).

     

    For troubleshooting:

     

    Turn Off iPad, WiFi router (remove from power), and Printer (remove from power).

     

    Turn on WiFi router

    Wait 30 seconds

    Turn on printer

    Wait 30 seconds

    Turn on iPad

    Try to print.

     

    If you need more help then what model Epson printer do you have?

    I have tried that but I still get the 'no air printeer found' and I am sitting right next to it!

    Lacks detail.

     

    I'm not familair with the specific printer & its capabilities. What I would wonder:

     

    Are you using something like Printopia which has a control panel

    & needs to be activated in system preferences, as well as the printer turned on?

    Some more information would help like what model Epson printer you have? It is on the same WiFi network? Etc.

    Thank you everybody for your help. It's all sorted now...I had to update the firmware and all was solved.
