Select the Delete button.

Mar 16, 2014 9:33 AM in response to tongarby Allan Sampson,A song with a cloud icon has not been downloaded. A song that has not been downloaded cannot be deleted since there is nothing to delete.
If you don't want music purchased from the iTunes Store that has not been transferred to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process or that has not been downloaded shown as being available to download, there is an option not to show this music.
On your iPhone go to Settings > iTunes & App Store. Below Show All, deselect Music.

Dec 9, 2014 8:42 PM in response to Allan Sampsonby Feisty90,There are a couple of songs on my iPhone 5s that cannot be deleted - I've tried several ways. "delete" button does not appear by swiping left. I can't delete by syncing with computer because after sync they don't appear in "hidden purchases" on my computer iTunes and there is no cloud symbol beside it. There is also no folder for them in my iTunes media folder. It does NOT disappear when I turn off "show all" under music tab on iPhone. (and I've tried all of these with iTune match on, and off).
Anyone have a suggestion?
