Mar 16, 2014 10:08 AM in response to capochrisby Kappy,MBAs do not have hard drives, they have SSDs. They also do not have Firewire ports. So you can do:
- Transfer over you local network using Ethernet or wireless.
- Transfer your MBPs data to an external USB drive then import from the drive to the MBA using Migration Assistant.
- You can use a Time Machine backup drive with Migration Assistant.
- Remote Disc, Migration, or Remote Install Mac OS X and wireless 802.11n networks
