How do I delete or close an Apple Support case?

I created a case for Apple Support to help me solve an issue involving my Apple ID security. But, I accidentally gave them the wrong number to call (how stupid right?). How can I close and or delete the case so they won't try and call it again or send me anymore emails? (I feel bad for the poor guy getting the phone calls!)

P.S., I apologize for possibly putting this discussion under the wrong topic, I wasn't really sure where to put it.

iPhone 5, iOS 7.1, White, 16 GB

Going to the website and calling he support line for my country worked. It turns out it had been previously abandoned/closed because no one was answering the phone for service (which is good, it was a wrong number!). Also, with a little research I discovered the case was and still is showing up on My Support Profile because the "Cases" tab shows a record of your contact with Apple for support. Each time contacted is a "case" apparently. Hopefully another silly mistake like this does't happen again.
