this iphone is currently linked to an apple id

Hi all

my friend is bought secend hand iphone 4s 16 gb and he ask me about update his iphone i update it but after update he show message (this iphone is currently linked to an apple id)

he not now his ID and also iphone not show full email to contact with him if this email form first owner now phone not work

how fix it ?

we bought from person and not know him contact

please help me the phone can`t use

iphone 4s IMEI (013170000221628)

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.3

Your friend will have to contact whoever he bought it from and have them remove the lock from the phone ( http://support.apple.com/kb/PH13695 ).

If he can't contact them or the seller will not or can not remove the lock, then turn the phone over to the police. It's a brick. It's not possible to bypass the activation lock and it is probably stolen.

I forgot the password, reset it and I already removed the device on my apple id but stiil I can not able to activate the iphone.

What is my next move now? Please let me know.

You'll get better repsonses if:

A) You don't hijack someone else's thread.

B) Don't bump a year-old thread

C) Explain your issue in better detail.

Go make your own thread, explain exactly what steps you've taken, exactly what point you are on your iPhone and what you see, along with any error messages you've encountered.
