If they are bare drives, you'll need an enclosure. Search amazon for hard drive enclosure that have the interface you want. I recommend usb3.

Would any usb 3 drive enclosure work? Do you recommend one in particular? are some better than others?

I want to say any would work but that's to general. OWC has some nice enclosures that will be tested with macs. OWC stands for other world computing...just goggle OWC and Mac. If all the drives are 3.5" then you can start with one enclosure and do all your drives. When your done, use it for backup.
