Connecting a photocard per USB

Hello,

up until some weeks ago I could import photos to iPhoto or copy it per finder. Now the card is not to be seen in finder, though in „about mac"; what happened, any idea?

~ glad to get hints, k.

Hi Karl,

Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.

If you are not able to import pictures from a camera or memory card using USB, start with the tips in this article:

Thank you, Jeremy,

I had to buy last summer/autumn the fastest photocards available (because of a weakness of the camera, this has a delay of some seconds in „live view photographing“ with slow cards;

my card-readers did work intermittently, this last weekend not of all, and only the newest one works always, just it was the last weeks beyond the city.

In none Mac device -nor mobile or desktop- a card storage was to see in finder, though some Mac has it quoted in the system profiler.

Thank you,

Karl
