Logic Pro X creating a pause in audio when importing from iTunes

When I try to import a track through the Media tab from iTunes, there's always a short but very annoying pause in the audio that lasts a second or so. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue I've been having?

If need be, I can supply an image of the problem, as I have a few points saved at which it has happened.
