late 2012 MacMini core i7: Intermittent bluetooth trackpad and keyboard problems.

MM won't wake up in the morning irrespective of whether the power saver setting is "sleep after 15 minutes" or "never sleep". My theory is that the bluetooth radio shuts down over night and won't wakeup, forcing me to hard reset. I suspect this because the bluetooth trackpad and keyboard sporadically disconnect even at close range.

Anyone else experience this issue?

Mac Mini, Mac OS X (10.6.5), MBP 2.6, 4GB, 15inch

Have you confirmed it is a BT problem by using a wired KB or pointing device?

Have you looked at the previous discussions listed on the right side of this page under the heading "More Like This"?

Don't have a wired device. Will have to borrow one and try this out. Have read all the posts and have found nothing that helps. The switch to allow bluetooth devices to wake the MM is checked. Taking it to the genius bar for diagnostics.
