not enough access privilege! iTunes won't function at all. help!

so i recently had a problem with some malware and my smc (read about here- they may be linked). after this happened, a lot of apps i use on aregular basis were aksing me if i was sure i wanted to open them because i was "opening them for the first time" (i wasnt). then i tried to open itunes, and it says i dont have enough acces privilege to do this. then it says "an unknown error occured (-45054)" and when i click oaky it quits. console says

3/16/14 11:19:50.669 PM iTunes[1069]: BUG in libdispatch client: kevent[EVFILT_WRITE] delete: "No such file or directory" - 0x2

i dont know what that means, but thats why im on the support forums. any ideas?

iTunes error -45054 - https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5469367?answerId=23478840022#23478840022 - permissions error, try repairing disk permissions using Disk Utility.

Using Disk Utility to verify or repair disks - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1782 - Ignore false warnings this may produce.

If repairing permissions using Disk Utility does not work, try: iTunes: Missing folder or incorrect permissions may prevent authorization - http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1277
