Q: I can't redownload songs from iTunes (iPad)

I already went to settings and hit the see all music button and I can only see a few things in the music library, when I go to purchased and not on this iPad it will show it and I'll hit download and it'll say it's done but it will not be in the music library, it's making me very angry!

iPad 2, iOS 7.1

    What have you tried to see if it fixes it ? Have you tried :

     

    - turning off Settings > Music > Show All Music

     

    - logging out and back into your account on your iPad

     

    - closing the iTunes store and Music apps via the iPad's multitasking bar and seeing if redownloading works when you re-open them : double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the iTunes store and Music apps screens from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.

     

    - a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

    Just tried everything you said to do and it didn't work, same thing happens.

    Have you tried anything else ? Redownloading your music on your computer's iTunes and syncing it over ? Copying your purchases off your iPad to your computer's iTunes, backing up the iPad, and restoring to that backup ?
