Mar 19, 2014 10:02 AM in response to nickoivanovby pedro d,Hello there, nickoivanov.
There are a few articles that provide some great resources for troubleshooting issues with Wi-Fi connectivity:
Joining and Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks
http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/assistant/wifi/
and
iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1398
Additionally this article speaks to if the Wi-Fi button is grayed out:
iOS: Wi-Fi settings grayed out or dim
http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1559
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
- Restart your iOS device.
- Make sure that airplane mode is off by tapping Settings > Airplane Mode.
- Reset the network settings by tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
This will reset all network settings, including Bluetooth pairing records, Wi-Fi passwords, VPN, and APN settings. - Make sure that your device is using the latest software. To do so, connect your device to your computer and check for updates in iTunes.
If you still can't turn Wi-Fi on, please contact Apple for support and service options. If you can turn Wi-Fi on but are experiencing other issues with Wi-Fi, please see these steps.
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
Cheers,
Pedro.

Mar 24, 2014 5:18 AM in response to nickoivanovby tomsjoberg,This seems to be a huge product liability issue for Apple https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/799058 , which they have chosen to deal with very negatively from customer perspective. I hope they come out with solution in iOs 7.1.1.
