afclip (Mastered for iTunes)

Question

afclip (Mastered for iTunes)

Hi there I am dragging 24 bit .wav files into Terminal (as explained in the .pdf instructions) with afclip running and getting the error message: "cannot execute binary file" I have no idea why this is occuring it would be great if anyone can shed some light on this problem.

From my understanding this tool is used for verifying AAC files, not WAV files.

afclip can analyze WAV files too, so you shouldn't get an error message dragging WAV files to the terminal after the afclip and space command. But it's true that AAC files made from the WAV files should be analyzed for Mastered for iTunes, not the WAV files.
