New iMac can't print to Kodak ESP 5200

Hopefully someone can help. I had a similar problem to this before when I upgraded to Snow Leopard and the fix was to change from using WiFi to USB to connect to my printer. I have just taken delivery if a new iMac (the big daddy with 27" screen, i7 CPU and all the toys - all good!), however I cannot print to my Kodak ESP 5250 AIO printer. I have re-installed the latest driver and it shows as installed and idle. It will even query the printer and show ink supply status. But when I try to print I get an error in the print queue window say the printer is busy, waiting for printer!?

I am connected to it via USB so no WiFi issues. Driving me insane and I can't find a hit anywhere with the same issue when connected via USB.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

iMac (27-inch, Late 2013), OS X Mavericks (10.9.2), Kodak ESP 5250 AIO
