My emoticon option has disappeared on my iPhone 5 when I send a message. How can I get the app back?

Go into your settings>general>keyboard then click keyboards then click add a keyboard then select Emoji,

I lost the emoji on my i6. Your good instructions helped me get it back. 🙂 thanks!

I do not have the option emoji when I try to add a key
