Q: Why is a doc created on Pages on my iPad not showing up on my MacBook Pro?  It has worked fine until today

I wrote a document on my iPad and then wanted to edit it later on my MacBook Pro.  It doesn't appear!  I have tried everything I know, turning each one on and off, syncing over and over, but it simply doesnt appear.  What next?  Did something change with the latest upgrade?

iPad, iOS 7.0.2

Does the document appear on icloud.com when you try to open it using Pages beta?

Yes, it does. It is present there, but not on my computer when I open Pages.  Nothing there is updated past March 12, 2014.

Some things you can try (if you haven't already done so) include:

    • Go to System Preferences>iCloud and confirm that Documents & Data is checked
    • If you're running Mavericks, go to System Preferences>iCloud, click Options next to Documents & Data and confirm that Pages is checked.
    • Go to System Preferences>iCloud, uncheck Documents & Data, choose Delete from Mac (they will still be in iCloud), restart your Mac then go back and check Documents & Data again.
    • Go to System Preferences>iCloud, click Sign Out, choose Delete at all of the prompts (your data will still be in iCloud), restart your Mac, then sign back in.
    • Reset the iCloud Documents & Data service: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5824.
