How can I perform the software update when I get a message indicating I have insufficient memory...I recently purchased additional memory so I know that's not the case?

It means memory on your device, not in iCloud. Remove stuff from your iPad or try upgrading using iTunes instead of OTA.
I get a message that the system cannot perform an update due to insufficient memory. I recently bought 10G of memory so I know that can't be the case. How can I perform the software update?
