Dell P2815Q monitor - DRIVERS...

I just got two Dell P2815Q monitors and it turns out that drivers are ONLY for WINDOWS - nothing for Mavericks / MacPro.

Monitors itself are not bad but I can't seem to change the resolution to any lower than 3840x2160 (connected via Thunderbolt>HDMI).

It's painful to read those tiny-tiny menus... do you guys know if there are any drivers for OSX?

Ugh.

You appear to be able to choose 1080p, which is 1920 wide by 1080 high.

There may also be other resolutions available if you click the "Best for display" button but they are likely to be higher resolutions -- great for photos, not so great for text.

The name of your display shows in the title of that window, and you did not type it in anywhere. The display driver appears to be working as designed. But the design has not quite caught up to the need for larger text when the display resolution is quite high.

Thank you Grant.

I'm "forcing it" to show other resolutions by pressing Alt - as someone suggested on another forum. I've been using Dell monitors for years now... and I never had to use any drivers until now... it seems like I need a piece of software to solve this problem. I was calling Dell today and they sent me to Apple... Apple sent me back to Dell.

Dell ships those monitors with drivers for Windows only.

It's... frustrating but it seems liek it may do good for Apple - I'm returning those Dell monitors and getting two monitors from Apple.
