Samsung ML-2510

I have the New Macbook retina display with Mavericks OS X version 10.9.2 and run into the error that the Driver could not be set up.

I've used: http://www.x-drivers.com/catalog/drivers/printers/companies/samsung/models/ml-25 10/25318/download.html

and http://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/ML-2510

Does anyone know if there is an updated driver for the Mavericks OS??

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2), Samsung laser printer

I know this is an old thread but I had the same problem and I found a work-around. I downloaded the printer driver ver 2.00 from Samsung. The link is:

This driver is for OS-X 10.3 - 10.7 and dated Sept. 22, 2009. It is NOT supported by Mavericks 10.9.x so use at your own risk but it worked for me. Download and unzip it and run the installer "Samsung SPL2 Installer". It will tell you that it is unsigned and will terminate installation. You will then go to your system preferences and select "Security & Privacy". There you see the choice to "Install Anyway" You will have to enter your administrator password and then you can install the printer driver. I haven't tested this extensively but so-far-so-good. Best of luck.
