iOS 7.1 update on iPad - Safari problems
* bookmarks deleted with update!
* cannot add bookmarks now
* no Favorites visible to add to
* cannot create New Folder
* iPad - Settings - Safari - Favorites: lists all of my former bookmarks, but they do not show up in Safari!
I have searched discussions.apple but have not found anyone with similar problem after update.

I have the same issues. The only link I have to my bookmarks is under history. Also cannot save any new bookmarks. Very inconvenient. Are they going to offer a fix?

I have a simple fix for my problem with Safari bookmarks missing after an iOS 7.1 update.
I simply closed the Safari app, turned off the iPad, then turned it back on, then started Safari . . .
and all of my bookmarks were back! Even my favorites in the favorites bar.
