My ipad screen is not responding to my touch

I can charge my ipad and it will vibrate and i can also print screen so i know my ipad is turned on but i cant see the home page.

It wont respond to my touch. Ive tried turning it off but it wont respond. Ive tried restarting it but it wont restart. Ive put it on charge and it will vibrate so i know its charging but i cant see anything on the homepage. Ive tried everything. Anyone got an idea on what i can do next. My ipad is a 3rd generation ipad. Please and thank you

Have you tried this... Reset ( No Data will be Lost )


Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least Ten seconds... (But can take Longer)... until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons


If no joy... Try a Restore...


1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.


2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.
