Adding new music to an old ipod that's linked to a computer that's no longer around!!

I have an older ipod which is linked to a pc I no longer own and also to an email address I no longer use. I cannot remember the password I have set up to authorize the new pc to accept my downloaded tunes .... Am I now stuck with an ipod I cant download stuff onto.... or is there a way round my memory loss?? Any help very much welcome. Thanks 🙂
