migration assistant put my data under new users, can i move that data over to my original user and delete the new users?

Yes. Choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu, provide /Users/ as the path, drag the migrated home folder to the desktop, provide your administrator password, and then delete that account from the Users & Groups pane of System Preferences.

then: The operation can't be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code - 8003).
can i migrate data between users?
