DVD DIGITAL COPY

I have several movies that I bought that included Digital copy. Some are dreamworks, some are Disney. I have not had luck with either.

Disney:

I went to digitalcopyplus.com as directed. It then asked me if I wanted to use dinseyanywhere. I clicked yes. Then it asked if if I wanted to connect account with itunes. I clicked yes. It opened itunes. The movies appear in disneyanywhere but not itunes.

Dreamworks:

The apple directions state to put the DVD in the computer and open itunes. I did this but nothing happens with the movie. It should do something - the DVD I bought specifically has digital copy with itunes.

Ultimately I want to have them on my ipads... what do I do?

Disney Digital copies and probably other digital copies may not download by themselves. Open iTunes and go to the iTunes store in the program. Look for "PURCHASED" in the iTunes store window and click the button. You should see "Movies", "Music", etc... tabs in the next window that opens. Click on the Movies tab. You should see your digital copy of your movie. If not make you find and pick the "All Movies" option in the top right of the window. If there is a "icloud" symbol in the top right corner of the movie picture, you need to click on that symbol to download the movie to that device. I believe you will need to "icloud" download to all devices one by one to get the movie on all your devices (computers running iTunes with the same apple ID). SO NOT ALL COMPUTERS ARE SET TO DOWNLOAD NEW ITEMS AUTOMATICALLY. You must get your "Purchased" items off the Apple network one computer at a time. Then you can sync your tablets and phones to the computer and tranfer the movie that way.

Also look for the Disney Movie Anywhere app for your iPad and you can maybe download the movie that way. I am not sure if Dreamworks and others have apps also. I can not get the newest iOS on my phone so I do not know how the Disney Movie Anywhere app works because I can not download it.

I don't have any dreamworks handy with digital copies, but generally there should be an insert with a code or instructions. Your movie will either be downloadable, or in some cases on a separate disc that you insert into your computer. You insert that disc and there should be an autoplay that opens a program that connects to the internet to activate the DRM in the file
