Mar 18, 2014 6:09 PM in response to sbermanby nogibby,GSM, with AT&T. I have always used the conferencing feature. I can still ADD a call to an existing conversation if I DIAL OUT to a new number. Since upgrading, when I am on a call and another call comes in, if I put the first call on hold and answer the second call, there is no longer an option to merge the 2 calls into a conference. This is a feature that I use almost everyday, and I need to find out how to get it back.

Mar 18, 2014 6:20 PM in response to nogibbyby sberman,Merge calls is still listed in the iPhone User Guide updated for iOS 7.1. I don't personally use this feature, so I cannot give you firsthand information.
Perhaps AT&T could help. You can phone them at 611 from your iPhone (in the U.S.), or (800) 331-0500. They staff both numbers 24/7.

Mar 21, 2014 8:37 AM in response to nogibbyby josephavellino,I am having a somewhat similar problem. Only started w/ iOS 7.1 upgrade.
I dial the first party. When I try to dial the second party, the first party is dropped and I get an error message "Call Failed." iPhone 5S. Have rebooted phone etc. Happens with every call regardless of signal strength, who the parties are etc
Contacted AT&T which responded, "contact Apple."
