Lightening to AV Adapter not working with 5S, running 7.1

No video, only an occasional error message on the TV that reads Air Play not available

Tested using the 30 pin connector and same HDMI cable, all OK with my iPad and TV

Get audio, but no video. Video running on the IPhone, but not on TV. TV screen is all snow ( except for air play message)

Photos show OK, just no video

iPhone 3GS, iOS 7.1, Lightning to AV Adpter
