I'm trying to share my Final Cut Pro X video using my compressor, but it won't work?

Hello. I am trying to share my Final Cut Pro X using my compressor. But it wont let me because it says I have to buy compressor. But I just bought Compressor from the App Store for 50 bucks. How can I fix this..?

I'm wondering whether the installation was faulty.

Is Compressor functioning as it should? Have you tested it as a stand-alone app – applying a setting to a media file and encoding an output file?
