Is there any way to invert the color on a text pdf?

I have a document for one of my classes that I'd like to be able to print out however, for some reason the background is black and the text is white. I've tried to do the TOOLS --> ADJUST COLOR --> INVERT but the adjust color option isn't avalible with this particular PDF.
