Grouping single tracks As album?

Recently, while adding a few of my albums to Itunes of which had been downloaded out of Itunes. Ive experienced only a few of these albums are actually listed all as single tracks. After trying solutions online such as, "changing info". It just wont keep the boxes ticked??.... This is becoming highly furstrating. Anyone with a solution of which they know how to fix this, please help.
