Photosmart 5520 says connected-Macbook says otherwise

Hello,

Once I turn my printer on (which is connected to my macbook wirelessly) it allows me to print one document. When I try to print a different document minutes after printing the first one, my macbook says "printer not connected." But when I check the settings on my printer (Photosmart 5520 eAll-in-One) it is connected. I even run a print/connection test from my printer & it says "no problems found." If I turn my printer off for a while & turn it back on later it does the same exact thing- only letting me print one document. I've downloaded the most recent software for the printer. I've deleted the printer & re-added it to my mac. The same issue keeps occuring. Someone please help me before I break my printer in half!

Thanks,

Krystian

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013), OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)
