I just updated the latest QuickTime - and Picture Viewer is gone. So, I deleted QuickTime and downloaded it as new - thinking that would help (I thought maybe something went wrong with the update).
Nope - still no Picture Viewer.
This is very disappointing as the QuickTime Picture Viewer was FAR superior than what comes on my PC.
Am I the only one with this problem? And, if I am, what can I do to correct it?

QuickTime for Java and QuickTime PictureViewer are no longer installed by default. They are removed if you have a previous version of QuickTime on your PC. If you still need these legacy features, you can add them back using the new custom setup option in the installer.

In Windows XP, I went to CONTROL PANEL -- Add/Remove Programs.
Choose Quicktime, like you're going to REMOVE Quicktime.
Except, instead of removing quicktime, choose the "CHANGE/MODIFY" option.
Then, select the Legacy install Picture Viewer.
And, Voila! Now I have Picture Viewer!
