MacBook Shutdown

My macbook continually gives me the "black box" that I need to shut down my computer. If not that, it will lock up completely. I do have Kaspersky security on my system.

I've emptied my trash and cleared Safari. Does anyone have any ideas for me? Thank you!

What you're seeing is called a kernel panic. You can read more about what causes these and steps to take on the following web pages:

I'd start by removing that Kapersky software. Antivirus software is generally unnecesary and often causes far more problems on a Mac than it cures.

Regards.
