Itunes error 4010:

Beginning with the last upgrade, I, too, have experienced this same problem. Exiting iTunes and re-opening it usually solves the problem for the one upload session. A permanent solution, however, appears to be the responsibility of Apple.

Exact same problem for me too (iTunes 11.1.5 on OS X 10.9.2). However, simply closing iTunes and reopening it does absolutely nothing, still get error 4010. My workaround is insert cd, rip, wait for the error to appear. Then turn off iTunes Match, turn it back on, let iTunes check my songs, then it successfully uploads the cd I ripped a moment ago. But this is temporary as the next cd will ALWAYS fail to upload and give error 4010 again.
