My iPhone is the only device I have that connects to the internet. I cannot use the personal hotspot option because I don't have the necessary plan, nor will I be getting it since it is extremely expensive. How can I share my iPhone's connection?

The Personal Hotspot feature (which you refuse to use) is how you can share the iPhone's internet connection with other devices.
YOu can't not without personal hotspot enabled thru yoru phone carrier.

No, your question has already been answered.
If you can't afford to use personal hotspot on your phone, then you can't share your internet.
Actually, you can do it via Bluetooth. I asked because my iPhone is on iOS 7 and won't allow me to connect to a Mac with an older operating system. Saying this, I'm quite sure they're are other methods. So please, continue saying that it is not possible.

And you'll still need personal hotspot to connect via bluetooth.

If you do not to get the necessary plan, you cannot share your iPhone connection.

Yes.

Note: This will not allow you to connect your Mac to the internet via your iPhone (since you need a personal hotpost to share the internet with yrou Mac).
