Apr 29, 2014 1:43 PM in response to peter aagaardby andrew165,I'm half way through season 6 of 24 which doesn't have 5.1, by the time I've finished I'm pretty sure it should be back. I'm not too fussed at the moment.
It is a little odd though that it was working earlier and now it's not.

Perhaps they caught the problem and are fixing it now. I tend to believe that this one is a host side issue.

Apr 29, 2014 4:40 PM in response to stevo1234321by iphone_traveller,I've spoken to Netflux and they are aware of the issue. Sadly it appears to be an ongoing problem as tonight even after the outage, all titles are still not playing with Dolby.

Apr 29, 2014 10:29 PM in response to peter aagaardby Goldenadder,I just spent 2hrs going through every setting on my Apple TV, AVR and trying various cables trying to figure out why Dolby Digital stopped working, then I bumped into this thread. When will this be addressed?

Apr 30, 2014 5:29 AM in response to Goldenadderby iphone_traveller,My recommendation is to let Netflix know you are suffering. The more of us report this, the quicker Apple and Netflix solve the issue.

Apr 30, 2014 1:11 PM in response to Slim CT9349by ad5901,After 6.1.1 update 5.1 DD worked fine on ATV. After couple of days no 5.1 DD again. Once again having to airplay from ipad to get 5.1. Come on netflix/apple get this fixed.

Imagine my dies appointment when I went to watch a movie last night and discovered it only in stereo again. The sound difference is VERY apparent. Submitted feedback to Apple. Hope they fix it quickly and it actually STAYS that way. What a disappointment.
