You're probably relieved to get that off your chest but it doesn't accomplish anything. Neither Apple nor Netflix is present here, only fellow users with the same problem. You need to call or visit Netflix's website and open a report. Also send feedback to Apple.

May 4, 2014 4:45 PM in response to lkruppby Comms Guy,Great advice - I have done both. I used the Netflix chat feature and the rep handled it really well - said it's a known issue and to watch out for an Apple TV update soon. Much better response than when I called a few weeks ago and they said it was probably my internet connection! Sheesh.

May 4, 2014 6:06 PM in response to peter aagaardby Mikep1000,Glad I found this thread. I changed out my reciever a few days ago and was going mad trying to figure out why all my devices but my Apple TV 3 would output 5.1. I thought it was config problem, only to discover Itunes works fine but not Netflix.

May 5, 2014 5:06 PM in response to lkruppby Tony Davenport,At least it gives us an interesting data point in the "Who f***ed up?" debate. Before we didn't know who to blame as it happened at same time as a firmware update. Pretty evident from this (happening at a time where there's no firmware update to blame) that Neflix is the culprit. I'm going to asking for free months .... yes .... that's a plural.

May 5, 2014 7:47 PM in response to peter aagaardby J_Coates,Going to keep watching this thread and hoping for a resolution soon! Considering how important Netflix functionality is for AppleTV, I'm sucked this hasn't been fixed yet...thankfully my other Netflix-capable devices are working fine.
