Mac OS X Ver 10.5.8 upgrade to Lion

I have Mac OS X Ver 10.5.8 and purchased OS X LION SINGLE UNIT-INT but i cannot download as my version does not support apple store software. What do do?

MacBook Pro, iOS 5.1.1

Click here, buy and install the DVD, and run Software Update.
